The Core Idea Responsive WordPress Website

Responsive Web Design

Robert Teneyck was my boss at Ideocore a bunch of years ago. Robert is a damn good branding and marketing pro. I’ve learned a lot from him as I’ve worked with him on many projects. We’ve developed a good rapport together, especially building his website which is called The Core Idea.

It’s a light and clean website built on WordPress using HTML5 and CSS3. I made it responsive for most mobile devices and iPads. I also made sure all the images were Retina screen ready.

I had a great time designing it together and it was even was a fun bit of code to write.

Web and Mobile UI

sRating is a social media website and mobile experience where you and your friends rate places you regularly go. The rating becomes personalized not by strangers but by your friends whose opinion you trust.

I put together a strong visual brand including logo, business cards and homepage design. I also designed many experiences of the user rating places in both web and mobile.

Make It Bigg Logo Make It Bigg UI

Make It Bigg is a mobile application that is easily allows you to discover new bands playing near your location by genre and quick music preview.

I created the logo, application icon and a few mockups of the user interface for the App. I tried really hard for the brand and persona of this app to be distinct and engage the user beyond just cool aesthetics.

With cool features like: Easy and super fast preview of music, Cool sliding picture galleries, interaction with bands through their band pages, etc… to impress on the user that they’re part of the band themselves.

Just got in my new business cards. THEY WILL DESTROY YOU!

I tend to draw a lot of little characters and sometimes I vectorize them in Adobe Illustrator. I decided to do something different and put them on my business cards. I hope it shows that I try to think a little bit different and maybe convey that to future and current clients. So far I’ve gotten a very good reaction to them… We’ll see.
